The article highlights governments that are increasingly using technology to help them manage for results and features comments from Matthew Birnie, the County Manager in Gunnison. It's a quick read and a very good one (if we may say so ourselves!).The piece makes several good points about the key principles of systems like MFR Live. These systems can (and should) provide performance information in a timely manner to power decision-making at all levels. They should also do so in a way that doesn't depend on a specialist to "free" the data from the system (as our colleague Jeremy Stephens noted recently). These principles have guided our development of MFR Live -- as well as our continuing development of other new tools, which will be coming soon.
